Sorry, this feature has not been integrated into Crosswalk-21 beta yet, but will be available in Crosswalk-21 stable definitely.

I just tested out the Crosswalk-21 beta that was recently released but I believe that the issue is still present in this build. I tried running an XWalkView from within a service, using a service context. The error I received is below. "com.xxxxxxxxx.xxxx.xxxxx.CallerService cannot be cast to android.app.Activity" Is there a different way that the view needs to be instantiated to be used within a service? I was worried that would be the case but I completely understand. Is there any chance that you could give us an ETA of when Crosswalk-Lite 21 would be available? Even a rough estimate would be fine. Thanks so much for your time. Otherwise, there won't be a parallel build called Crosswalk-lite. Please trust me that we care about the package size very much as all developers, and our team has tried to do everything for this purpose. As a result, it's so different from original build that even us can't keep updating for every release. Thank you for the response. I am sure it will be quite some time before this is available in Crosswalk-Lite but I am curious if the size of Crosswalk can be cut by building Crosswalk ourselves. Can you tell me if this is possible? If so, is there a brief overview of what this would entail that you could provide?
