Hi, what's actually the reason for restricting XMLHttpRequest in Crosswalk?
It looks like there is a way around on Android (https://crosswalk-project.org/documentation/manifest/xwalk_hosts.html), but nothing can be done on other platforms? BTW, it's also not possible to set the User-Agent header with Crosswalk for XMLHttpRequest... Just seems a bit strange to have these restrictions when at the same time there is a raw TCP socket API available... well, except that the raw TCP socket API doesn't appear to support SSL/TLS (so no lock trying to workaround for https URLs)...
