I have used the following instructions ( https://github.com/crowbar/crowbar/wiki/Build-Crowbar.ISO) word for word with default version, with Fred , with 1.3 , 1.4 and 1.5 .
I was able to get the iso build successfully without a problem and even install the first step of Crowbar, however when I go to install I see "Starting Crowbar" then I get the Errno::ECONNREFUSED error then it goes 5 more times with timeouts . I get the same results with the dev build instructions https://github.com/crowbar/crowbar/wiki/Dev-tool-build I am installing the Crowbar Master to a VirtualBox Hypervisor, I have to be missing something . so it looks like the step where it craps out, is when it installs Chef Server and then starts trying to update chef , after this initial failure I can go in and successfully run chef-client as well, kind of strange because it seems like it should fail . How does Chef Server get installed without a Bar clamp ? because everything is installed via bar clamps correct ? and if Chef Client does not have a server to update from yet how does that work ? -- Do not allow yourselves to be deceived: Great Minds are Skeptical.
