John-Paul What is the hardware you are installing on? Is the desired goal to set up the OS on a RAID 1 array (using the two 300GB drives) and set up the 12 3TB drives into a single RAID array or into individual RAID0 arrays? In your current setup which RAID configuration was picked and did the end result have a 2TB volume instead of using the entire 3TBs on each disk?
Also in the 1.6 release only the RAID barclamp is open-sourced. In Pebbles both RAID and BIOS are open-source versions. Thanks! The current config can't use the OS drives and requires the 3TB drives to be formatted with 2TB volumes. We'd like to maximize the storage we have available. Some questions: * Is it a matter of finding what the hardware discovery presents and writing custom rules for our hardware? * Is this a hard or easy-ish change? * Are the newly OSSed barclamps available for 1.6 or just pebbles?
