I noticed that Ohloh's tracking of the Crowbar repos had stalled, so I

I was thinking something just like that.  Would really like to get the
whole thing working first, though, so you can see at least one analysis
of the whole.  You'll probably see about a 250-300% increase in the
figures (lines_of_code etc.) over what you might otherwise expect due to
the code duplication in the versioned enlistments unless you have had a
wholesale refactoring of the code somewhere along the way.  If you do
split it off, you may lose some history in the main project and make it
up in the branch projects.  It's always a balancing act to represent the
project properly on both fronts.
