Hi,

with JIRA down I found other ways to keep myself occupied. Using the
ASF Parent POM I was able to create a basic source distribution and
tweak our project until it looked Apache-compliant. I'll submit the
patch when JIRA is up again. See the Wiki [1] for instructions on
how to create the release.

Do we need a binary distribution as well or is it enough to publish
our own artifacts to Nexus? I think it would be easier to go with
a source-only zip for 0.3.0-incubating and distribute release JARs
via Nexus. What do you think?
