Localising CrunchBang is an area which is in definite need of work. We do not currently have anything set-up to accommodate translation work. My own knowledge on the subject is somewhat poor and I am hesitant to jump in and set something up for fear of wasting the effort of anyone willing to do this valuable work. I know Launchpad has a translations service, but I am not sure how this would integrate. I figure the majority of applications/projects handle their own localisations and so the only things that come to mind for CrunchBang are the Openbox menus and configuration files.
