yes, delete this. The printer works fine on Linux Mint 9 XFCE
and Linux Mint 8 Fluxbox. I think CUPS probably fixed the
bug (and passed the correction to others).

Status in “splix” package in Ubuntu: Invalid

Bug description:
I'm using #! (CrunchBang) and reported this bug. And was referred to ubuntu
since #! is derived from ubuntu.

The preinstalled ppd and raster files do not automatically work. Also the
Unified Linux Driver (from Samsung's website) does not
work because it use libtiff.so.3 instead of version 4 (#! uses version 4). You
have to follow the direction at

http://openprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=Samsung-ML-2510
-> Unified Linux Driver
(scroll 3/4)

and copy the ppd and raster files (from Samsung's tarball to CUPS
directory).

Can the updated ppd and raster files be in future versions?

Thank!
