In this webrev, the POST function in each kernel software module has no caller at this point. The POST functions are designed and will be invoked by kcf at boot time, which will be code reviewed as a separate piece at a later time.
There will be no system impact due to not calling the kernel POST functions now. They are self-contained. Our plan is to have each self-contained piece integrated instead of a big chunk of integration. When the kcf change is reviewed and integrated, the whole POST process will take place at boot time for every approved kernel software module.
