Intel and 3Com have ethernet cards with crypto accelerators. 3Com model is 3c990, I think. Red Creek have a PCI card with an Intel 960 plus some crypto chips. It acts like an IPsec gateway in front of the PC. Merilus have a firewall on a PCI card, called firecard. All it takes from the PCI bus is power. 3 ethers: inside, wild side and DMZ. Runs Linux on a Crusoe CPU, includes FreeS/WAN IPsec. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The Cryptography Mailing List Unsubscribe by sending "unsubscribe cryptography" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
