Florian if you can outline what is needed I am sure that a few of us can chip in some of our time to help fix the templates. Just let us know what needs to change. As you have probably realized by now I am more a hobbyist than a professional. :)
Is Wei Dai across this issue as making the changes may upset the VS 2003/2005 builds? It would probably be a good idea to get the changes needed for GCC 4 compile into the 5.3 dev branch to make sure that the cross platform nature of the library is also maintained?
