The FAQ on the website contains some examples. That and test.cpp in the source is all the help you are likely to get. The author rarely participates here, presumably having moved on, or concentrating on paid consultancy work. He is also on record as having little interest in improving gcc support. You'll see a lot of people here subscribe, ask a question, no reply, unsubscribe... Its a shame; crypto++ could so easily become the defacto standard c++ crypto library. I suggest that unless you 1) grok cryptography 2) are profficient enough in c++ to read and understand the source, then look elsewhere. If, however, you fulfull 1) and 2), crypto++ is a very powerful and comprehensive cryptographic library. Andrew Walrond
