Hi, Barry I write a spec file, the rpm install libcryptopp.a and libcryptopp.so to /usr/lib, and header files to /usr/include/cryptopp. Just a simple spec file for you, if needed, I hope and will update it.
How to build: [1] Extra the source code package, and copy it to /usr/src/redhat/BUILD, change the name of directory to "cryptopp". [2] copy the spec file to /usr/src/redhat/SPECS, run this: rpmbuild -bb cryptopp.spec I've tested it with cryptopp-5.6.1(svn) on RedHat EL 5.4 (The CentOS have same rpm path). Please contact me with any bug of this spec file. This spec file may have some errors with earlier version of cryptopp, because the GNUmakefile didn't have libcryptopp.so target. Attachment for spec file, if you can't receive it, contact me.
