>From the answers I got in this StackOverflow question (
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4772837/how-can-one-parse-a-zip-file-using-crypto
), Crypto++ doesn't seem to parse Zip files out of the box. If I were
to write some sort of a front end which could do this parsing, and I
was willing to release that into public domain, would the Crypto++
maintainers be interested?

I haven't started developing such a front-end but if you guys would be
interested then I would take care to follow your coding conventions as
I work on it.

If you're not interested anyone should still be able to use the
extension because I'm already planning to stick it on BitBucket
somewhere.

Thanks!
