Hi All, This is a paid engagemnet - though OWASP and ESAPI are free and open source, there is funding for the developers.
The project uses Boost and Crypto++. Jeff Aspect Security is looking for one or more experienced C++ programmers to assist us in the completion of the first phase of the C++ version of the OWASP ESAPI security library. ESAPI (The OWASP Enterprise Security API) is a free, open source, application security control library that makes it easier for programmers to write lower-risk applications. The ESAPI libraries are designed to make it easier for programmers to retrofit security into existing applications. For more details, the home page for this project at OWASP is: https://www.owasp.org/index.php/ESAPI#tab=ESAPI_C.2B.2B, and the source code to date is at: http://code.google.com/p/owasp-esapi-cplusplus/. The selected contractors will be working with existing project participants who are experienced C++ developers and experts in application security. Application security experience is a plus. Being located in the MD/DC/N.VA area is also a plus but is not required. These positions are 1099 contract positions, full or part time, through the end of February 2012. Due to the funding source, U.S. citizenship is required. Please send your resume, availability, and hourly contract rates to: dave.wichers, aspectsecurity.com. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "Crypto++ Users" Google Group.
