I downloaded the 5.6.2 zip file from the main website, unzipped (with the 
-a option) to a directory, then did "make static test".  The compile worked 
fine, I see no errors or warnings.  Then it ran cryptest.exe, and passed 
all tests until it got to the SHA validation suite, where I got this error:

Testing MessageDigest algorithm SHA-1.
make: *** [test] Illegal instruction (core dumped)

For reference, the test settings from the beginning of the test are:

Also, I am running this on Fedora 15 within a Oracle VM VirtualBox.
