I have posted a prerelease version of VOS, 0.23.0-pre2 for testing. This
version should be much easier to compile than previous versions of VOS.
It requires a recent CVS version of Crystal Space, or that you use the
snapshot posted on the download page:

What is VOS?
The Virtual Object System (VOS) is an open source effort to develop a free
and open platform for online multiuser 3D applications. It provides the
infrastructure for downloading and synchronizing 3D worlds across
distributed hosts. VOS integrates closely into the Crystal Space engine,
providing a CS plugin which can be used by any application to load a VOS
3D world into the CS 3D engine. VOS also includes the VOS browser
Ter'Angreal for joining and interacting in VOS online 3D worlds.
