Not sure about the destruction model. But a turbo engine is one that uses
the exhaust gases to drive a turbine which in turn drives another turbine
to force more air in the engine, this has the effect of causing the engine
to produce more exhaust in turn driving the turbines even harder forcing
yet more air and fuel into the engine and producing yet more exhaust. This
is a positive feedback loop that is more exponential in nature than either
a super-charger or nitrous. Meaing you have to rev the engine to higher
RPMs to see the full potential. Whereas nitrous is kept in a bottle and
is released using a button usually giving a set amount of extra oxygen and
fuel to the engine producing a lump of extra horsepower.
