Hello,

Canterbury Software Inc. (CSI) is continuing to work in association with
the Canterbury Development Corporation (CDC) to offer specifically
tailored Enterprise Training Workshops exclusively to CSI members. The
first workshop this year is being planned for the end of February and
you will receive detailed information when it becomes available.

In the meantime, please the an Enterprise Training update received from
CDC:

This year we are introducing two 'workshop series' to the Enterprise
Training Programme. In both cases it is recommended that clients attend
all workshops in the series to achieve maximum benefit:

The Business Essentials Series examines crucial elements for the
successful establishment and operation of any small enterprise. It is
aimed at innovative business people who have been trading for a short
period of time (6 - 18 months), and need to achieve a holistic balance
between these elements with a minimal degree of risk.
Workshops covered are:
*       Practical Business Planning
*       Financial Planning
*       Principles of Marketing
*       Communication skills in business

The Management Essentials Series make up an essential skill development
programme built around a unified body of practical management and
leadership techniques designed to help launch you along the path to
success.
Workshops covered are:
* Interviewing and staff selection made easy
* Building an effective team in a small business
* Leadership styles and its effects on productivity

If you have any questions regarding these workshops or Enterprise
Training in general please contact Sally Kemp at CDC
