Hello to all, As Owen Scott indicated at the end of last year, Canterbury Software is looking to set up a second Special Interest Group (SIG) for 2005. This group will be specifically focused on Market Entry and access to Distribution Channels for the United States, as this was one of the key export markets identified for New Zealand software companies from the Software Export Survey.
This particular group will be of interest to company's that are currently exporting to the US and those looking to exporting to this market and are finding it difficult due to the fragmented nature of channels. The Special Interest Group will enable you to interact and work with other individuals and company's that have similar market issues, and hear from those that have done it successfully. Along with the Special Interest Group we are also looking at incorporating a workshop on market penetration. The workshop will be built around the issues that company's face either when first entering a market (specific to the US), and the distribution channels once market entry has been undertaken.
