Dear members,

I could really use your help.

As an experienced project manager who loves variety in live I would like to work and live in New Zealand. And as I loved Christchurch when I visited New Zealand in 2003, I am posting this email here.

Although I will be available in 2006, I am looking for a job offer now.

I will be granted a work permit under the Skilled Migrant Category shortly. This permit will be valid for 2 years.

The problem is that I am not able to come to New Zealand until somewhere in the first half of 2006. This is due to the fact that I am working on a large project for the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture right now, and I promised to finished it.

So this leaves me about a year from the moment I arrive in New Zealand to find a job and work at least 3 months in it. Also I anticipate that, if business would happen to be a little slow by then, no employer will hire a migrant and I face the risk of being kicked out of the country. This means that not only I would be homeless, but my horses and cat also. Besides, I will not take my pets until I am certain I can stay in New Zealand.

There is a solution to this though:  if I manage to get a job offer before I have to send my passport to immigrations for the work visa stamp, I will be granted Permanent Residency right away. This gives me until July 2005 to find that job offer.

In that case I will have to work for only 3 months in that job when I arrive in New Zealand and have the right to stay. Of course I still have to work to get an income, but I am quite confident I will find employment, since my former employers have always been very satisfied with my work.

The job offer I need has to be for at least 3 months, and it has to be a skilled job somehow matching my experience. So any skilled job related to IT or management will do. No special permission to employ me is necessary, because I am already qualified as a Skilled Migrant. If you have any questions about this, my emigration consultant is happy to answer them.

It would be great if anyone would be willing to hire me and I do appreciate any suggestions. You can contact me directly by email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Cheers,  Josien Reinalda
