Hi, Agitavi is involved in doing some research for the
MED. They want to put together focus groups and are looking for companies to
contribute – ideally a group of around 6 people on the 6th July.
Below is an outline for you. If you think this is something that you want
to be involved in then please let me know and I can add you to the list. WHAT The MED is launching an ICT Collaboration Project
to determine and increase the range and depth of Technology Collaboration
between WHY MED wants to investigate the opportunity of
developing policy to support an increase in foreign collaboration in the ICT
industry in New Zealand, which could then improve the capability of New Zealand
firms to facilitate new technologies and have these adopted across the
different sectors of the economy. One of the methods to be used is to hold focus groups
with companies who have had collaborative experiences with foreign ICT firms to
determine the specific strategies used by those companies and whether these
strategies can then be supported by policy through the MED. It is relevant to note at this stage
that unsuccessful collaborations will also be of value in this process. WHO Agitavi Research is at this stage wanting to
identify companies that have had un/successful experiences in collaboration
with foreign ICT firms. These firms would be reviewed and invited to
