HI TECH AWARDS 2005 FINALISTS NAMED

Press release, 1-September-05, Allied Telesyn New Zealand Hi Tech Awards, Christchurch, New Zealand:  After an extended deadline while companies rushed to get their award entries in, the NZ Hi Tech Awards committee is pleased to announce the judges have named the finalists of this year’s Allied Telesyn NZ Hi Tech Awards.

A number of quality entries were judged last weekend from all over the country and the high standard proved a tough challenge for the judges to decide the finalists and winners.

There are just four weeks to go until the presentation of the awards at the Convention Centre in Christchurch on Saturday 1st October. Details of the ceremony, accompanying events and reservations can be found at www.hitech.org.nz.

Don Rae, Chairman of the judging panel, commented: “The entries were very strong this year, which made the decision process very difficult. All the finalists demonstrated tremendous innovation and commitment to meeting the needs of their market. It was evident that many companies are realising the advantages of professional business governance and well researched strategies aimed at increasing their market position and export success.”
