Hello folks,
We've added a new members-only benefit to the Canterbury
Software site, of which more below.

First, however, a few people have asked how to "filter" incoming
CSForum messages (like this one) into a separate email folder.
We've added details to the bottom of the
http://CanterburySoftware.org.nz/forum.htm page on how to do this
for three popular email packages: Eudora (thanks to Terry Paddy
for the info), Pegasus and Outlook Express.

Now, about that new member benefit: we've provided an additional
"keywords" field in the Tech Directory. The keywords don't appear
in your listing but they will make more likely to appear in searches
by allowing you to mention a wider range of relevant topics (and
without fracturing the prose of your listing to do it!). For example,
notice how a search for "ebusiness" will include the SPIS entry in
the search results, even though that word isn't mentioned in the
text of our listing.

New members are given the chance to specify keywords when they
join (http://www.canterburysoftware.org.nz/join.htm) or submit their
Tech Directory listing. If you have joined and already have a listing,
just fill in the "Company Name" URL and "Additional search
keywords" fields on this form:
http://www.canterburysoftware.org.nz/directform.htm

And don't miss the new resources added recently to
http://canterburysoftware.org.nz/resources.htm

cheers,
peter
