Hi folks, We've got a chance to make an international impact at the Webby Awards this year -- our Web site, ScitechDaily.com, is a finalist and, not surprisngly, we'd dearly love to win this Internet equivalent of the Oscar.
We're up there in the Science category against real heavyweights like NASA (ulp!), which is a big ask for a small company from Christchurch.... But we're giving it a go! There are the main awards made by the Academy members (people like Larry Ellison of Oracle, Richard Branson et al), and there's also the People's Voice Award in each category. We're going all out to see if we can get the entire country to vote SciTechDaily the top Science site in the world. So if you have time, please register to vote (it's free) at: http://www.webbyawards.com/peoplesvoice/index.html They'll send you an email with a password so you can log in to vote in any of the 30 categories. (The voting is audited by Pricewaterhouse Coopers, hence the registration set-up.) You can see more about this at http://SciTechDaily.com/webby.htm You've got 'til June 7 to vote...and keep your fingers crossed for us on June 18! Please pass this plea on!
