Hi Just a reminder to sign up for membership NOW - our Software Cluster is really good value at $50 a year and is open to anyone who is interested in growing Canterbury's software industry.
I've met lots of great people through the cluster, people who keep me thinking and learning and are a priviledge to work with - why are my best friends are the people I learn most from? The courses have been a real help too. I'm useless at marketing and basically lazy so it's easy to become complacent and lose touch with new ideas. The seminars are on the doorstep and fit a lot into a short time - no 'salesy' overhead. I found I learnt twice as much as usual, from the content and the discussion, even something about marketing. We have an incredible array of talent in Canterbury. Ken and I signed up for every single one of the TradeNZ Hitech breakfasts too and enjoyed them all - lots more next year please Cate! Finally, we have a great team leading the group and keeping up the injection of ideas. Onwards and upwards for 2003 - we're on a roll!!
