Hi to you all, With the beautiful Christchurch summer weather of the last 2-3 weeks I imagine everyone is well and enjoying life to the fullest.
I am currently looking at organising the 6th round of the CDC BIZ Hi-Tech Launch Platform programme .... yes that's right ... the 6th round. Hard to believe, but 50 companies have passed through the programme now. I am continuously receiving good news stories form the past members of the programme (NOTE - Keyghost received an export award the other week). Industry New Zealand recognise the programme as the best in NZ for developing young technology focused companies, and I have also finished writing a manual for the 14-week programme to take it NZ-wide. Appears Auckland will be the first to implement it. I will be flying to Auckland over the next 2 weeks to help implement it. I am sending this message to you all to ask if you could scour your networks and community to identify possible businesses for the 6th round of the hi-tech programme. Can you contact any businesses with potential you feel could benefit from the programme to help take their business to NZ-wide and global markets. I am looking for Hi-tech companies in the following fields: - Electronics - Software - Telecommunications - Precision engineering - Bio sciences - Environmental sciences Note I am looking for businesses from 6/7 years of age with several $millions of T/O - right down to start-ups with zero T/O. The mix of ages and technologies is one of the success factors of the programme. Hoping you can help me here. In the very least we need to keep well ahead of Auckland.
