Your problem may lay with inproper file format or content of your server.cfg. First of all make sure the file is in your "cfg" folder and that it is readable. If I were you, I would create a new server.cfg with just one line --> hostname "Whatever you want here". If in windows, use notepad or similar editor, if in linux then do: echo 'hostname "My own server"' > server.cfg chmod 644 server.cfg
