You're given one computer to use between the three of you, and your choice of 3 programming languages (Java, C, C++). The contest fosters creativity, teamwork, and innovation in building new software programs, and enables students to test their ability to perform under pressure. Quite simply, it is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world. The goal is for teams to solve as many problems as they can in a limited time (about 5 hours). The problems generally emphasize knowledge of mathematical and programming concepts such as graph theory and combinatorics.Invitation to the on-site contest depends upon your performance in the on-line contest. -- Swarandeep Singh Director,Event Management & Finance CSI NSIT Students Branch | http://societies.nsitonline.in/csi Undergraduate Student, IT Department NSIT, Delhi University, India [email protected]
