Festivals organized by various educational institutes form an integral part of a student's academic tenure. It provides us with an opportunity to conceptualize, organize, manage and coordinate various events along with learning new skills, interacting with professionals, the corporate sector, social sector and fellow students.
Keeping this in mind Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering, New Delhi is poised to for its Annual Technical Festival. The technical fest has been an important and integral part of the college, since its inception in 1999. Moreover, the college has organized numerous other festivals, seminars, symposiums, technical and cultural events always drawing huge crowds from the numerous colleges in and around Delhi. Over the past few years we have also witnessed increased participation from institutions outside the NCR region. The events have seen a huge presence of students from University of Delhi and its affiliated colleges, Delhi College of Engineering, Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, affiliated institutes of GGSIPU, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-D), colleges under Uttar Pradesh Technical University, ITM Gurgaon and other regions outside the NCR. Some of the Annual Technical festivals organized by the college are Incisive 2005, Genesis 2006, Elcoblitz 2007, Athenians 2008 and Hertz 2009. An annual fest Fervour is organized by its IEEE Student Branch and every two years we celebrate our cultural fest Xtasy. This year, it is time again, for the Instrumentation and Control Department at Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering, New Delhi to present the ---- Annual Technical Fest - GENESIS 2010
