[css-d] Width, margin in IE6

Bah! I finally fixed most of my problems with this design but I'm  
really stuck on this. In IE6 (only) this valid page and CSS fails  
pretty spectacularly. Specifically, the right sidebar is in the wrong  
location unless the browser window's width is exactly "right".

It also incorrectly behaves as if the content is wider than the  
window much of the time. I did a ton of googling and what not.

The troublesome div is absolutely positioned "inside" another div,  
but the problem doesn't seem to be width related.

Also the headlines farther down the page lack their backgrounds.
Please help me figure out what the heck is going on!
