Well, my former employer has IE Mac installed on all of their 1000+ Mac OS X machines. While they also have Safari installed, the majority of their corporate Intranet sites don't work with Safari .. so most of the Mac users use IE Mac.

You can always look at hosting logs for the site in question, then decide if it's worth pursuing.
