I'm redesigning the website for my improv troupe, moving from a very tables-and-spacer-image based site to XHTML and CSS.

For layout, I'm using an extended version of the Skidoo (Lean) setup at http://webhost.bridgew.edu/etribou/layouts/skidoo/lean/index.html.

My XHTML and CSS validates (with a couple of small CSS invalidities that shouldn't cause problems). The design looks great in Mozilla and Safari. Of course, it looks like crap in IE6/Win.

The site can be found at http://beta.comedyworx.com/
The CSS is at http://beta.comedyworx.com/css/cwx.css

Specifically, I'm seeing the following problems compared with Mozilla/Safari:

* The middle column content is shifted far down the page, below the content in the right sidebar.

* The boxes around the sidebar sub-boxes don't appear to be complete.

* The right sidebar is narrower than the content.

* The menu on the left has a lot more padding on the top and bottom, and rolling over seems to screw up other background colors.

If anyone can provide any suggestions for working around IE's brokenness, I'd appreciate it.
