Updated my test case to show the assumed rectangle.

This is a coordinates rectangle build by 0,0 and 100%, 100% of the inline <a>'s visual rendering coordinates. When this rectangle was used to calculate the position of the background-image, the image would be physically placed outside of the wrapped link by "left top", or only shown partly by "left center", depending on the image's visual height.
