I totally hear you on the interruptions front.  What I did was set
everything aside for a few days, left the office on a mini-sabbatical,
and put myself through the book Eric Meyer on CSS, which *is*
effectively a CSS course.  Now he has two books, with the same format.
Maybe you already have them?  With some discipline and dedication (and a
place to hide), you could very well use these two books for a self-made
intense CSS course.  Add in the CSS-D list for questions that come up
during your "course" and you may get what you're after.
