I don't see any problems with your page, using 10.3.9. There have been 
reports about problems with some fonts on 10.4, but that seems a random 
occurrence.

That said, using points for font-size is not a good idea. % or ems are 
better.

If you change to another font-family, do the rendering problems persist 
?
i.e. using 'Lucida Grande' instead of Verdana for OS X users.
