[Ian pointed me to the pure css drop down article http://www.mywebstuff.com/02_css/css_07.html] There is still a problem. The 'pure css drop down menus'-article uses a fixed width of 250px. I would prefer to avoid a fixed width, because you cannot for sure say how large the width of the container has to be. But still thanks for the suggestion.
