>>Why would someone use a class instead of an id on body?<< Christy -
The first thing I thought of off the top of my head were navigational links. I'm sure there's other reasons out there, but I recently did a site where I had to apply a body class because the client wanted "tabbed navigation". I used a system where, based on the class of the body in question, it would display the "submenus" for the correct tab. This is the code I used: http://www.kalsey.com/tools/csstabs/ You can see how the body needs a class by viewing the source. Like I said, though - I'm sure there are other reasons for doing it, but for me, this was the first (and only - so far!) time I've ever had to do it. ~Shelly ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d IE7b2 testing hub -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=IE7 List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
