Hi Alex,

You are right. I didn't specifically mention CSS. However I thought  
that it was fairly clear that I wanted to create a page that met web  
standards including the use of proper CSS and xhtml because most of  
the news tickers do not use such standards. So I think you may be  
being a little harsh. However, no problem - I will certainly take any  
further discussion on this off-line - hopefully anyone else who wants  
similarly to use proper standards to do things like this will find  
their own ways of doing it.

Thanks for setting me straight - I will make sure I mention CSS  
explicitly in any future postings.
