I have been designing and implementing a search engine as part of my university
degree, after months of coding, testing and bug-fixing, i have an almost
finished product.
What i find is that my results page is just a list of links (with some text
description, a little like google). I was wondering if anyone out there had any
ideas how to jazz up the results page, any designs that you wish some of the
major search engines would employ, please forward them here i would love to try
and implement them. I personally was thinking of displaying each result in its
own box with rounded corners and perhaps a faded watermark....but im am very
new to css (but very impressed) so my imagination is somewhat limited.

So to summerise if you could reply with ideas, perhaps some code or links to
tutorials or css effect you have seen and think would be appropriate, i would
be very grateful.
