Hi everyone,
-query: How can I configure a font to have a transparent background so I
can place it over a background image and still get it to validate?
-example: trying to get this test to validate:
html body {background: none;}
h1 { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px;
color: #000000; font-weight: normal; background-color: none}
h2 { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px;
color: #000000; font-weight: normal; background-color: transparent}
-validating at: W3C CSS Validator Results
(http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/) gives me:
Invalid number : background-color none is not a color value : none
* Line : 1 (Level : 1) You have no background-color with your color : h-1
* Line : 2 (Level : 1) You have no background-color with your color : h-2
Yes I'm a newbie learning CSS, have built many sites, now it's time to get
the code right.
thanks for your help,
Sonic
