#rap1 does not contain the floating children #rap2, #column-b and 
#column-c, therefore, it is not expanded and computes to a height of 
zero. Consecutively, the parent of #rap1, #boundary, is not expanded either.

I think a overflow:hidden or a clearfix on #rap1 should do.
