My apologies to cj and Dino! I was doing the work on GoLive, and previewing it with GL's live preview. On that, the menu was vertical. I tried it on Fireworks, et al, and it all worked. Thank you to all who answered this. GL has some MAJOR issues with it's CSS previewing. Another bug it has is that no matter how nice you make your coding, it throws up "anonymous" layers, and puts 'em all over the place, in your working display. F'rinstance, on the working window, supposedly WYSIWYG, that navbar is so far to the left you can't read the buttons!
And thanks for the "index2" catch, Will. Good thing that button WAS on the home page. The rest of the site was correct. Again, a HUGE thank you to all who've assisted me in my first CSS-based site.
