Hi, all, I'm guessing the list admins are doing other things, so I'd imagine they haven't had a chance to make this statement, but I'd imagine they would look at the purpose of this list[1], compare it to this discussion on which doctype to validate against, and deem it off-topic.
Discussing how the doctype impacts CSS (such as how removing the URL from the doctype triggers "quirks mode" in several browsers) would be on-topic, as it directly applies to CSS application. Which doctype makes for a better way to mark up HTML may be better discussed offline, or brought up in one of the lists identified in the Wiki.[2] Thanks, Michael [1] http://www.css-discuss.org, first paragraph [2] http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=OffTopic ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d IE7b2 testing hub -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=IE7 List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
