Look at your stats. I took the opportunity to look at mine and see  
that all flavors of IE 5.x account for less than 0.4% of my traffic.  
All flavors of Netscape combined is about 0.6%. Firefox is about 5.5%  
and Safari is about 2.8%. Thats just me, YMWV. So for me, 5.0  
browsers are a pretty insignificant minority and so I am not too  
worried about them. That being said, I do make sure that the site is  
functional in all those... meaning I don't have anything that  
prevents anyone in a 5.x browser from using the site, but I don't  
worry that much about the details.
