I created a piece of code I call "centerdiv" and I put it around
everything I want to be centered.

<div class="centerdiv"></div>

.centerdiv
{
        text-align:center;
}

Subject: [css-d] Vertically Center

Hi

First post so please excuse the maybe silly question.

I have the following piece of html...

<div class="gallerythumb"><a href="#"><img src="thumb.jpg"
border="0" /></a></div>

and the following CSS...

.gallerythumb      { width:70px; height:70px; float:left; text-
align:center; border: 1px solid #ff0; }

What do I need to add to this to get the pic to be vertically centered
in the div as nothing I have tried seems to work properly?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers
