Hmm. Unusual. Well designed, easy to read, informative student 
newspapers are few and far between. Nice job!
Now, on to the nit-picking ;-) :
-- I think you need some navigation for those who use ie in 
accessibility mode (or, those who have images disabled in compliant 
browsers-- for whatever reason).
-- She holds a strong font-zoom, with the possible exception that #sub, 
and the text directly beneath it,  breaks and overlaps at +3.
I kind of expected that the wide left column would be first in the 
document source order (I am sure I will get over my disappointment :-) ).
