This may sound a bit silly, but...

Here is my setup:

- Fixed-width floated column set at 240px wide.
- Inner div with 10px padding on the left and right

That leaves me 220px of content area.

I would like to place an image that has 1px border and 2px padding
inside the 220px content area. Correct me if I am wrong, but that means
the image should be no bigger than 214px?

Now, where I get confused is IE/PC... Again, correct me if I am wrong,
but will the image be a bit smaller due to incorrect box model? Is it
IE6 that gets it right, but 5.5 and below will have a smaller overall width?

I would like to get the image to fit as tight as possible in the 220px
col... How have you dealt with this type of situation for cross-browser
consistency?

Hehe, I kinda feel silly pressing send here, but I really need some
advice... I do not trust myself on this one.

I am using a non-quirks mode dtd (FYI). Also, I have to get make the
image fit as tight as possible due to boss request.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

Have a good night, TIA!
Cheers,
Micky
