It will be interesting to see whether such approaches (and the -50%

I have to try this out myself. It's a pity it's so difficult when it 
seems such a simple demand, but I can understand why, if the browser 
window is considered solely as a view-port over the actual document.

Maybe in that case, we should look at using static positioning for it?
