OK, three things:

<div id="navMainWrapper"> must lose the <br> because this causes IE to expand 
that div to a whole line. Use <div id="..." class="clearBoth"> instead if you 
find you need a clear, but I don't think you do.

#navMainWrapper needs these lines removing:

  height: 1%;
  width: 100%;

They also cause that div to be the height of one line. Removing these lines, or 
the <br class="clearBoth"> alone does not cure it: you must remove the above 
lines AND the <br>. Otherwise, that div becomes a grey block the height of one 
line.

Finally, the image tag in <div id="logo"> is broken and leads to an 'x' 
(missing 
image) in IE.
